Conductive aluminum foil tape for transformer
The conductive aluminum foil tape for transformer is aluminum strip material 1060 and 1070 o soft temper, the thickness 0.2-3.0mm, the width is 100-1200mm. Because the conductivity of aluminum strip material is next to that of copper, and its cost is low, aluminum foil strip material gradually replaces copper as the main raw material of international electronic products.
The high-voltage winding is wound by aluminum foil tape and high-quality insulation foil. The wire coil is placed in a heating mold and poured in a vacuum tank with a special proportion of resin. Vacuum casting exhausts the gas from the windings to ensure low partial discharge of the transformer. Because the thermal expansion coefficient of conductive aluminum strip and the casting resin is very similar, the thermal stress caused by load changes is kept to a minimum, which improves the winding's crack resistance. Foil windings combine simple technology with a high degree of electrical safety. Compared to other types of windings, insulation withstands less electrical stress. In conventional round wire windings, the inter-turn voltage can reach twice the inter-layer voltage. A layer of aluminum foil winding has only one turn, so the electrical stress is kept constant, and the winding can withstand high power frequency voltage and surge voltage.
The dielectric stress of the low-voltage winding is small. This type of winding is made of a single sheet of conductive aluminum foil tape or copper foil with a resin-impregnated glass fiber cloth insulation in the middle.
