Aluminum strip 1060 temper soft

Aluminum strip 1060 temper soft stands for the 1060 O aluminum strip or full-soft aluminum strip 1060. In this product, 1060 aluminum alloy is formed by adding a small amount of copper element to pure aluminum. It has excellent forming characteristics, high corrosion resistance, good weldability and conductivity. The temper soft indicates the state of work hardening, and others use H or T indicates the state of heat treatment. Temper soft O denotes process for controlling physical properties such as hardness. In addition to O temper, there are H12, H14, H16, H18, H22, H26, H34 and H36. Usually, the ends of 4 are semi-rigid. The 1060 O, 1060-H22, 1060-H24, and 1060-H18 are arranged from soft to hard.

The production process of aluminum strip 1060 is relatively single, the technology is mature and the price is much cheaper than other high-grade alloy aluminum products. Aluminum strip 1060 temper soft has good elongation and tensile strength. The commonly used aluminum strip should belong to the all-soft series, because the O-temper is easier to stretch and bend. Aluminum strip 1060 O can be used for transformer winding material (thickness 0.3-3.0 mm), cable wrapping material(thickness 0.12 to 0.20 mm).
