The connection of high-voltage power distribution devices in substations, as well as the connection of electrical equipment such as transformers and corresponding power distribution devices, mostly use rectangular or circular cross-section bare wires or stranded wires, which are collectively referred to as bus bars. The role of the bus is to collect, distribute and transmit electrical energy. Because the busbar is running, there is a huge amount of electric energy passing through it, and it bears a lot of heat and electromotive force effect when it is short-circuited. Aluminum bus bar has good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, no low temperature brittleness, easy welding, and easy pressure processing. Aluminium strip 5mm is currently widely used in switch cabinet bus bars and lead wires of generators and transformers. Rectangular conductors have a large surface area for heat dissipation. When used to transport large currents, multiple rectangular busbars are used in parallel.
